Here’s what you’ll need:
1/3 cup of ground coffee (fresh grounds if possible)
1/4 cup of cacao powder or raw cocoa (optional)
3/4 cup of room temperature milk
1/4 cup of honey
An essential oil or facial serum of your choice (optional) I prefer this one to combat hyperpigmentation and promote an even skin tone.
Add the cacao to the ground coffee beans and mix thoroughly with a fork.
Slowly pour in your milk and mix your mask. Each time you pour milk take 10 seconds to stir the mask before adding more.
Continue to pour milk little by little until the mask has reached a chunky consistency. The mask should not be too thin so really take your time and stir!
Add 1/4 cup of honey and continue to stir mask until it reaches a pasty consistency.
Add 5-10 drops of essential oils and stir your mask until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
That’s it! Five easy steps.
Simply apply the mask and leavit on for 10-15 minutes. When washing it off be sure to rinse with your hands using small circles to get the full benefits of the coffee grounds. This mask self-preserves so feel free to keep this mask in your bathroom or in the fridge, though I doubt this mask will be sitting around for long!
